The first Sviatoslav Richter Piano Competition is over! The winners announced. Congratulations to everyone!



Tonight the competition laureates and jurors will pay a visit to The Sviatoslav Richter Memorial Apartment.


June 23, 2005

Due to sudden illness of conductor Eri Klas the Round III audition of Yakov Katsnelson (Russia) is postponed till Saturday, June 25, 12 am (Moscow time). Tickets from June 23 are valid.

Vladimir Pon'kin (Russia) will serve as a substitute conductor for the rest of the Competition.

Starting 11 am (Moscow time, GMT+4) on Friday the competition auditions will continue on Wednesday, from 18:30 pm (Moscow time, GMT+4). See detailed schedule.

The Opening gala of the 1st Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competition was held today in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

Starting 11 am (Moscow time, GMT+4) on Sunday, the competition auditions will begin. See detailed day by day schedule online.
